A Day in Leuvan, Belgium

Today, we took a short train ride to Leuvan to visit the crypt of Saint Damien.  St. Damien is below St. Anthony’s Church.  The Troop said the Rosary and a special prayer.  Afterwards, we attended Mass, which was held in Dutch…very cool and different.

Belgium…a little delayed, but we made it!

After a 2 hour delay in NY, we finally made it to Brussels, where a Belgian contingent of Scouts met us at the airport.  After loading our luggage, a caravan of 5 cars drove us back to a quaint campsite next to a lake in the countryside…the same countryside Fr. Damien of Molokai grew up.  We are just a stones throw from Tremelo.
